Abstract:  This brochure explains electromyography (EMG), which measures nerve and muscle function. Included are descriptions of the two parts of the test, nerve conduction study and electrical activity measurement, as well as instructions to follow on the day of the study and directions to UWMC and the EMG/SEP Lab.
