Kidney and bladder tests: Finding and preventing problems with your urinary organs  
Abstract:  This handout explains several kidney and bladder tests. Each test is described and explanations are provided for why tests are done, how they are done, how to prepare for them and possible risks. The Intravenous Pyelogram (IVP) (also called Excretory Urogram or EU), renal and bladder ultra sound, X-ray of the kidneys, ureters and bladder (KUB) and cysto-urethrogram (CUG) are included.
