Abstract:  This handout gives instructions for gynecology oncology patients to follow after their surgery, with specific notes for hysterectomy patients. Included are activity restrictions, symptoms that should be reported to the clinic, how to manage the combination of narcotic and non-narcotic pain medicines and their refills, and when to call for a follow-up visit.
