Abstract: This handout contains the same information as the booklet by the same title, but in a full-page format for ease in printing. Information is provided about controlling pain and communicating with health care providers to find methods that work. It includes the "Tell Us About Your Pain" pain scales and facts about opioid pain medicines. Translations in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese are available in the booklet format.
