Abstract

This handout explains lchemoembolization, a treatment for cancer that is most often used to treat people with liver cancer. The procedure delivers chemotherapy drugs straight into a liver tumor. The handout includes how to prepare for the procedure, what to expect during and after the procedure, and follow-up care.
