Abstract

This handout explains different sperm retrieval procedures, including TESA, TESE, microTESE, PESA, and MESA. These procedures may be done as a part of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), where a single sperm is injected into each egg. The handout also includes instructions to follow before and after the procedure.
