This handout explains what patients and families can expect from the palliative care service in the Alvord Brain Tumor Center (ABTC). The ABTC Palliative Care Clinic offers extra support and comfort for patients and families living with a brain tumor. The palliative care team attends to all aspects of the patient’s well-being. This includes their emotional and spiritual needs, and what they value most.
