Abstract

This handout explains the different types of fat: monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, saturated, hydrogenated (trans fats), and Omega-3 fatty acids. It includes tips for eating the healthiest types of fats for a healthy heart, and lists of foods that contain the different fat types.
